WORKS / IN / CHAOS is Salad Days Collective’s incubator for new, unhinged, emotionally alive performance work. Think: staged chaos, unfinished thoughts, experiments with teeth.

Each edition showcases two gutsy works-in-progress from emerging artists—shared in front of a live audience with just enough design to crack open the world of the piece. It’s part development showing, part theatrical rave, part existential support group.

We’re interested in writing that feels. That might be angry, tender, funny, scary, or all four. We champion work that’s driven by voice, risk, and emotional voltage—not polish or perfection.

This is where things get strange, vulnerable, and alive.
